Okay, I'm not really a party person. I just like to put on airs. I've been to Burning Man--so what? I'm lame and I know it.
The most outrageous thing that ever happened at a party (that I still remember) was sliding down the stairs on my stomach. Or, was it the graduation party where I took a water color set and painted pictures of people on the deck above without them knowing it...that the host loved and kept. Uh, see, I'm lame and I've no doubt ruined many a happening party. And, you know what? It doesn't bother me! I suck less.

Somehow, i always seem to polarize toward those types too. Not sure how that happens. Maybe it's similar to the way you can attract dogs, with raw meat in your pocket.

Wed, October 27, 2004 - 3:58 PMIt's pretension that really gets me. The people that are too hip to talk to anyone with a real life, the rich people who won't talk to us mere proles, and the party folks who act like you are lame if you still have a soul.
I guess it is the people who act like I'm inferior because I'm not a part of their particular click. If you aren't in their style, you are nothing type thing. Lots of them of different colors all turning up their noses at me there. Got old.
