This is my feeling about the election as we speak.
It looks like that overgrown monkey will be fucking president again. Ignorance running ignorance. It goes to show you that there isn't any common sense in this country. The common ground here is stupidity. How can people go on thinking that this fuckwad is the best choice for America? I hate this place right now. CNN and MSN are saying that Nevada went Red. Fuck! This means I'm going to have to hear these dumb fucks celebrating the return of a right wing Christian who wants to take away my rights and tell me it's his God's will.

Re: I know this isn't a political tribe but some hate is in order.
Wed, November 3, 2004 - 10:24 AMAmerica gets what it deserves? I'm not America and I don't deserve to be run but a Right wing Christian fundamentalist. American politics are fucked and are in need of a re-write. But my friends and I don't deserve to be hated by the world for living in a country that polices the world. I don't think forcing democracy to countries that don't want is a good idea. But as an American I'm hated for it. Hate me for personal reasons not because of a label I did not choose. -

Re: I know this isn't a political tribe but some hate is in order.
Wed, November 3, 2004 - 10:54 AMtrue, you are not america. but, if you cast a vote in this election, then you chose to operate as a willing participant in the collective unit called "the united states." if you are willing to vote as part of a collective , then you should be willing to accept retribution as part of a collective as well. it's inconsistent to demand that you be allowed to vote and participate, but when it comes time to answer for the outcome you just run away and say "wasn't my fault." i mean, when the shit goes down and the whole entire world attacks us on our own soil, they aren't going to stop and ask people if they voted for bush or not...they're just going to shoot you dead no matter what, because you're american. -
-
Re: I know this isn't a political tribe but some hate is in order.
Wed, November 3, 2004 - 1:33 PMThink about it for a second. If you vote against someone who brings a war that shouldn't be fought to your doorstep, you're saying it's still your fault. I disagree, I didn't start this fight, I didn't want this fight, and I don't want to be held responsible for this fight. Granted if I get nuked in the process oh well. If a war came on our soil are you going to be saved by saying "I didn't vote" Come on? To say I deserve the repercussions that the Republicans #1 Fuckstick brings me isn't justifiable. Just like you don't deserve it if you didn't vote at all. I'll accept death if that’s the retribution when it comes but I won't go on saying we deserve it because of what Bush is doing.

Re: I know this isn't a political tribe but some hate is in order.
Wed, November 3, 2004 - 11:46 AMAm I missing something??
I know I'm a political dunce and all, but don't republicans usually vote for Replican candidates because it usually favors the upper tax bracket population??
And isn't most of the money of the country on the coasts: California(third largest economy in the world) NY, MA, etc....all the states that voted against Bush??
Maybe the money aspects don't matter as much as the stupidity aspects. The progressive states vote against Bush, and the rest of the nation that the coasts are supporting act like dead weight, and promote anti-productivity.
And another thing! What's up with Montana voting to legalize Marijuana but ban gay marriages?? WTF?!?! I guess somethings are more important to them than equality up there.
oops, one more thing. What's up with the new senator elected from one of those southern states that doesn't think that "the gays" should be allowed to teach in public schools, or that unmarried mothers should be able to teach either?? How is it that such a dumbfuck can get into such an influential position in this country?
I hate stupidity, and their damn stupid victory parties.
And WTF is up with BUsh declaring his victory before the results are in?!? Talk about arrogant americans?!?! -
-
Re: I know this isn't a political tribe but some hate is in order.
Wed, November 3, 2004 - 11:55 AMBush didn't officially declare victory until Kerry conceeded. The numbers just don't add up in Kerry's favor.
NY and California usually go to the Democratic Party because the big cities tend to be more liberal in the US (Texas being the exception) and the bible belt more conservative. It's unusual that the gap in NY and CA is so slim. Usually it's a runaway for the Dem candidate.
Not even the Kerry supporters were very enthusiastic about Kerry. It's hard to believe that anyone can do worse than Gore in running against Dubya. -

Re: I know this isn't a political tribe but some hate is in order.
Wed, November 3, 2004 - 12:54 PMoh ok.
I was watching CNN in Poland this morning, and they were waiting for Nevada and New Mexico, which were expected within the hour.
They were saying that if they announce that the republicans won those states, then Bush was going to give his victory speech right there before Ohio was declared. Which i thought was a bit immature and assholish of him, if he did that.
Oh well, i guess the currency exchange rate will continue to plummet, and we'll promote even more disgust with the US from the rest of the world.
I'm glad that "Schwarzenegger couldn't deliver California." That'd be a goddamn embarassment. -

This is the maximum depth. Additional responses will not be threaded.
Re: I know this isn't a political tribe but some hate is in order.
Wed, November 3, 2004 - 2:03 PMYeah, there was no way Ohio was going to swing in Kerry's favor. If Kerry held out until every vote was counted, it could take as long as three weeks before it would be completed. Nevada and New Mexico could do nothing to swing the vote cause they have so few electoral votes.
So, what do you think of our antiquated Electoral voting system? Don't you think the popular vote is more appropriate today? I mean, since we don't have to use the Pony Express to get our votes counted. What's the process in Poland? -
-
Re: I know this isn't a political tribe but some hate is in order.
Wed, November 3, 2004 - 2:13 PMThe Electoral system needs to go away. It was good when it started but now ever vote can be accounted for. -

Re: I know this isn't a political tribe but some hate is in order.
Wed, November 3, 2004 - 2:20 PMThe Republican National Committee announced today that the Republican Party is changing its emblem from an elephant to a condom. The committee chairman explained that the condom more clearly reflects the party's stance today, because a condom accepts inflation, halts production, destroys the next generation, protects a bunch of pricks, and gives you a sense of security while you're actually getting screwed. -

Re: I know this isn't a political tribe but some hate is in order.
Wed, November 3, 2004 - 7:09 PMMy splurge= looking at the CNN website was insanely depressing. How the hell could Gore have done better than Kerry four years ago after our current president lied, cheated, and effectively murdered so many? I don't like the next four years being determined by Idaho. I don't think that whether I have fish or chicken on an airplane should be decided by Idaho? ! . Hell, I don't think that Idaho should decide their own state flower. It must cause brain damage and they should have governing forces stop them from inbreeding.
Is hate the answer? Of course! This election made me remember how many rednecks, ignorant cunts, entrepreneur swine, and ignorant twats are in this country. I hate them all and it requires a large chance of getting victimized in prison to keep me from killing at least one of them. -
-
Re: I know this isn't a political tribe but some hate is in order.
Wed, November 3, 2004 - 9:21 PMwhy? because the mases are asses! Scare them, threaten to take away their so called way of life, their ideals, ther comfort and they will justify voting for a dolt because he will preserve ideals increase moral standards and fight terrorism just like he will fight drugs. Its fucking sad, all these wars we wage are never ending justifications to make more weapons and bread more hate so they can sell more weapons and as the "security" and weapon industries and oil companies and every other fuck of a industry with their finger in the pie flurishes by taking and stealing we are once again reminded that nothing has changed, and that man is still man, and despite the new age we reflect our nature. Killing one of those so called cunts is tempting indeed, but if we are here to struggle and to fight we must do it through means that will magnify a side of humanity that is not primitive and base, a side that calls on hope, otherwise you might as well vote bush or fucking save yourself the trouble and just crown the king. -

Re: I know this isn't a political tribe but some hate is in order.
Sun, November 7, 2004 - 9:01 PMI told my coworker that all the "moron" states voted for the moron cadidate while all the "intelligent" states voted for the non-moron. <sigh> Why the hell do there have to be so fucking many moron states? I'll tell you why, because intelligent people like us Californians come from those moron states. Although I am a native Californian and can't really speak from experience, my theory is that all the smart folks leave the moron states because they don't want to be surrounded by morons. That means that there are nothing but morons left in the moron states, which puts the intelligent states in the minority. That's why this country is so damned polarized. We should send colonists to the moron states to smarten those dumbshits up. If that doesn't work, we'll wipe 'em out with smallpox or some new disease that we, as intelligent people are immune to, but will devastate the morons. It'll be like a rebirth for our country! A crucible through which the moron will not survive!
When I start getting depressed about the election I think, "Well Logan, look on the bright side. After this, he'll never be able to lead the country again. If we kill his brother now, we'll never have to worry about a Bush president again for as long as we live." -

Sun, November 7, 2004 - 10:18 PMTimbo you are right that we should'nt hate or lookdown upon someone because of their ideology or beliefs and their choices because circumstance and myriad of other factors has something to do with that....but let me ask you at what point does being PC take presidence over the future or your life? -

Re: I know this isn't a political tribe but some hate is in order.
Mon, November 8, 2004 - 10:07 AMI'm kinda shocked with the results in the so called "blue" states of California and New York. The gap wasn't that big this time around. Last time around California and New York decided the popular vote. This time around there was no contest. Perhaps they aren't as intelligent as you may think.
Here in Nevada, at least the tide is turning in the right direction (depending on what you think is 'right'). We almost became a blue state. It seems like California and New York are becoming more right leaning. -

Tue, November 9, 2004 - 8:40 PMIn response to Mike's concern over the political confusion of America. I was surprised as well. I thought FA would go blue or at least be close? Nevada looked like it was going to go blue, but the final results were rather pink. Is it the ass kickin feel good of a big swingin dick smackin around the hornets nest that is the middle east. Or was Kerry just too intelligent for the average American to relate to? -

Re: I know this isn't a political tribe but some hate is in order.
Wed, November 10, 2004 - 7:41 AM"Or was Kerry just too intelligent for the average American to relate to? "
This is really close to the truth in my opinion, considering the reason that I get from people who voted for Bush. They didn't really give anything that actually made any sense. Some people voted out of fear that we could be attacked... Well if we didn't invade countries for unjustified causes then maybe people wouldn't be so pissed. But they feel safer with the president that is bringing them reasons to fear. It doesn't sound very educated to me.
Or the "Moral Issues"... Putting abortion and Gay marriages before national security sounds a little uneducated to me. Sounds to me that they aren't smart enough to realize what is truly important. Your safety or the safety of a fetus.
